where is the shadow file

I have looked and I searched the forums. Where the heck does Apple put the shadow file?

I have John the Ripper compiled and running and want to audit my users password strength, but John needs a password file to work with.

OSX doesn't use passwd or shadow files...

The login information is stored in Netinfo. Do a "man nidump"
