setting up video/audio com for my IMac 8,1 OS X, 10.5.6

Can anyone step me through setting up video/audio com. with other Apple owners?
Just an overview; if it's too messy I'll put it off.
Thanks.

OK, then!
The quick overview here:
Turn on your Mac
Adjust video and audio for your preferences, either from the keyboard dedicated keys, or changing settings in your System Preferences.

What more do you need?

Or - do you want help with video chat?

As far as video / audio com, as in communication, the easiest way is to use iChat. iChat requires either a .Mac account, or an AIM account. You can easily set up a free AIM account through AOL in a matter of minutes. Once you do that, add your Apple friend's account names as a New Buddy in iChat, click the Green box by their user name, and there you go.
