10.3 erase and install
I am trying to reinstall OS 10.3. Have done this previously with no problem. When I go through the process the only option i get is to to "install the additional applications that came with" my computer.
I put the cd in. restarted my computer. Held down the "C" key. What am I doing wrong? |

Maybe it's the wrong CD.
What does it say on the front of the CD?

It says: "iBook G4 Mac OSX install Disc 1." Same CD I've used in the past to do a erase install. Seems really strange (and frustrating). |

Is it booting from the CD?
Or is the CD merely showing up after it boots from the hard drive?

Yes, it is booting from the CD. Just not giving me the options: "Upgrade, Archive and Install or Erase and Install." I'm about to pull my hair out!

I figured out what I was doing wrong. When I got to the part where you click on the hard drive you want to install onto, I didn't click "options" in order to
Select Erase and Install.
