How to connect Samsung mobile to Mac?

I own a dual SIM Samsung D880 mobile that came with a 2 GB flash card in it. How can I transfer the photos that are on this flash card to my Mac via the USB cable that came with the mobile? I think there is a software for PCs but I have not found a way to get access to my Mac via that cable - all the cable currently does is charging the battery (a nice feature in itself but not what I am after).

Also, I suppose if I get the connection up and running, I would like to save all my mobile phone address book details as a back-up in case I would ever loose the mobile. Has anyone had any luck with this?

Cheers, A.

Seen their website - not clear whether this is a mere plug-in to (i)sync address book and calendar or whether it will also allow me to download the data that resides on the 2GB card!

Also, it seems to work (connect) to the mobile via bluetooth which is not an option on my mac mini - I really would want to use the USB cable that came with the mobile.

Any idea?

Try a card reader, you can get USB card readers for most types of media.
