Terminal not taking commands
While I was configuring MySQL I logged into the computer as root.
Now when I open Terminal it doesn't go to bash, it just stays at login and while I can enter text, nothing happens when I hit enter. |

There is no reason to "enable" the root user in OS X. You can use the sudo command from your admin user to gain temporary root privileges. And you should understand what you are doing before even doing that--as you have discovered, you can damage your system when acting as root.
I don't understand what you mean by "it just stays at login". Can you be more detailed? What prompt is showing in the Terminal window? Have you read the Unix FAQ in the Unix - Beginners forum here? There is a section on Terminal problems which you specifically need to look at. Trevor
