I forgot my passwords...

This might sound kind of stupid but... I forgot my login password AND my master password. I have no idea what my account password is but I don't have FileVault turned on so it doesn't ask for it when I log in. I could probably figure out my master password but it will take a few days... or more.... Still, can I reset them without losing all my files? Anything else I can do?

Boot from your installation CD/DVD and there should be a "Reset Password" utility on there. See Apple article:
