I must be a bit dim.....
Hi all,
I have a really weird problem on 10.2 client, I will try and articulate this problem as best as I can.... OK - 2 Partitions (10.2 client on one / 9.2.2 on the other) Running Classic 2 Users - me (admin) and trainer ( I want to set their capabilities) Problem - unless I am logged in, I get the following message when trying to open any application in Classic "The operation could not be completed because you do not have enough access privileges" There may be other issues, but hey, lets get over this one first ! I have checked all privs & permissions.... Thanks to you all.... Cheers Shambeko |

I'm not understanding how you can be trying to open a Classic app without logging in. Maybe I'm just not following . . .

I think he means that if he is logged in as the other (non-admin) user he is unable to open classic apps, but logged in as himself (admin user) he can open classic apps.

Apple articles
Have you checked the Apple Knowledge Base ?
Here is an article which seems on topic: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106982 You say that you have checked permissons etc but have you run the Repair Privileges utility? This may not help because I believe it says it only works on the "boot volume" and you have your Classic on another volume. |
