Lost my Mac Office:2008 identity

I tried to change my License name on my Mac Office:2008, and reloaded my disc hoping it would guide me through that process. Well that failed, and now I get messages saying,"Identity cannot be opened with this version of Entourage. So now my Mac Office doesn't work properly and I still haven't managed to change my Licensed name.
Please help?

To remove Office licence you only have to remove two files

delete ~/Library/Preferences/Microsoft/Office 2008/Microsoft Office 2008 Settings.plist
Delete /Applications/Microsoft Office 2008/Office/OfficePID.plist

Then it will ask for your key when you next launch an Office program.

Check in your documents folder fro Microsoft User Data if it is not there then try and find it and move it back into this default place

You may need to run updates to 12.1 SP to get it all to work again as the fresh install will not open a 12.0 version of data file.
