DSL modem
If i buy a time capsule or airport extreme do i still need to by a DSL modem, nearly all DSL Modems come with wifi routers incorporated so what is the point of having two bits of hardware when you only need one?

You will still need a DSL modem. The point is not everyone has DSL, they are those less fortunate that have Cable ;-) |

I'm using my DSL modem as the router/firewall/DHCP Server, but nothing more. The support isn't that great from Verizon, and the the range isn't as good as the Airport Extreme base station. Also, the original firmware on the DSL router didn't support WPA.
