running apps
I can not run an app called Cmatrix
i downloaded the source code and in there was a stuffit file and i unstuffed it and it was a psf file, is that the app? i also downloaded a binary version and it has thed icon of a document i type the absolute path (/Applications/matrix.rpm/) (also /Users/Desktop/Matrix.rpm/ i also tryed the source code ver.) can anybody help? |

I suggest you to install Apple's X11 or XDarwin and then Fink. Then you can install the 'fink' package "cmatrix version 1.2a-1". You can see cmatrix in XDarwin here: http://homepage.mac.com/sao1/PhotoAlbum7.html If you need some more info, let me know. |

apps?
What Kinds of Apps can you use on X11? I know you can use unix and linix. I saw a screen shot of someone using winapp on X11, How do you do that?

You probably saw them using XMMS, a clone of WinAmp that works in the X11 environment. If you haven't already, you ought to search these forums for how-to's on installing/using Fink.
