Welcome to UNIX - X11! First of all, may I say, sao deserves to be a moderator. If somebody has ANY kind of Unixy problem, he's always the first to respond. You earned it, sao!

running apps

I can not run an app called Cmatrix
i downloaded the source code and in there was a stuffit file and i unstuffed it and it was a psf file,
is that the app?
i also downloaded a binary version and it has thed icon of a document
i type the absolute path (/Applications/matrix.rpm/)
(also /Users/Desktop/Matrix.rpm/ i also tryed the source code ver.)
can anybody help?

Macman2090,

I suggest you to install Apple's X11 or XDarwin and then Fink. Then you can install the 'fink' package "cmatrix version 1.2a-1".

how do i change the color graphics in X11 like in the terminal?
i know there are commands but i dont know them

apps?

What Kinds of Apps can you use on X11? I know you can use unix and linix. I saw a screen shot of someone using winapp on X11, How do you do that?

You probably saw them using XMMS, a clone of WinAmp that works in the X11 environment. If you haven't already, you ought to search these forums for how-to's on installing/using Fink.
