.wps from PC to Mac. Please Help.!
Hi. I have a saved file on my Desktop PC, .wps (Has just Text, Colours and Borders - you know, the fancy stuff
) - But my printer is not working.! I REALLY need to print this document ASAP, so will have to transfer it to my MAC to print it off.Only problem is, when I open it in MAC, its comes up in Text Edit looking all Chinese and stuff.!!!!! Please, how do I open the .wps file saved from PC to MAC, or is there another way I can save/transfer it to open it up on the Mac. Many Thanks, NepentheZ |

.wps - isn't that MS Works?
I suspect there's not much on a Mac that will open that as you would want it. Do you have Word on your Mac? That may open it - but then again, I've heard that even PCs have difficulty with Works compatibility. Can you save the file as a PDF from the PC? Other than that, you may have to save it as .RTF document, and then do any formatting in whatever app you use on the Mac. |

Check out NeoOffice (the Mac port of openoffice). I know it can handle wordperfect files and save them as word documents. Would not be surprised if it handled wps files also.

Ditto on NeoOffice. It always opens those pesky .wps files that people send me. The formatting is usually a bit off, but it's better than nothing.
