Advice for someone taking the AppleCare Exam?
I am taking the AppleCare Desktop Repair Tech exam for the first time and I'm wondering if anyone can give me a little advice. My boss was kind enough to give me a training CD from 2000, which was very helpful but I can't find any sources of information as to what will be on the test. What types of questions will be asked? What areas should I study?
Thanks, Gabe

I don't want to be nasty about this, I certainly would like help when I take any type of exam, but the point is, that you should already know what you need to know to pass the exam. Just revise the best you can and do the best you can in the exam.
I know this sounds nasty and unhelpful

Re: Advice for someone taking the AppleCare Exam?
The Apple Stores carry the most current version of the training CDs, the odds are that the test is going to be closer to that information than the 2000 edition. So basically you need to ask yourself if you think you could pass with the older information or if it would be worth the money (about $300) for the current set of CDs. As I recall, the 2000 edition didn't cover Mac OS X at all. For more information on what Apple was providing for their support techs in the way of Mac OS X documentation, try this PDF Manual. (I think that is a much less nasty and much more helpful response to a reasonable request )
