iTunes account info will not transfer to iPhone
I have an iTunes account on my Mac... works fine, no problems. I have a working CC on file; I'm logged in to my account from my computer to which the iPhone is synced.
However, my iTunes account information won't transfer to my iPhone when I attempt to use the iTunes WiFi Store. I get the following error message when I try to purchase a song: "No account information found. Please connect to iTunes to configure your account." Other than this, the iPhone syncs properly -- music, video, podcasts, etc. Unless I'm missing something, I've torn iTunes apart (figuratively) looking for a setting or some other preference that would enable/disable this problem, but no luck. I've Googled and Yahooed the error, and find a number of people reporting this problem, with no real solution. I've logged out and in from my iTunes account. I've synced my iPhone. I'm at a loss for what else might be going on. GS P.S. I've posted this same question at the Apple Discussion boards, and despite having been viewed in excess of 80 times, no responses. |

iTunes account problem
Hi!
I´m not sure this will help: "When you sync your iPhone or iPod touch with your computer, the account last used to access the iTunes Store from the computer is synced to the mobile device for use in the iTunes Store from the device as well. This same account is used for the App Store as well. This account will be used on the device for both stores until you sign in from your computer to the iTunes Store with a different account, and then resync your mobile device with the computer." http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1311 Make sure uout account is activated on the iphone Create a new account on iTunes, log in and sync again Did you set up MobileMe (not sure if this i necessary) |
