Auto-trace movement mouse?

Hello. This may seem like a bizarre question, but I'm trying to automate a mouse movement to trace over a picture in Mac OS X. The picture is in a transparent, always-on-top, overlaid Preview window that can't be clicked on (done using Afloat app) - and I need to have my mouse trace the lines in the picture. Is there any simple way to do this?
