ftp question, please help....

Ive set up this ftp server with rumpus on 10.2 and sometimes people are not able to upload and rumpus displays

"1:500 command not understood" when that happens.

does someone know what these errors mean?

does it matter that i use Fetch at the same time to upload or download from other ftp servers? Does this affect rumpus and that they use the same port? but then why does not this happen to all users???

please help!!!!
