It's great if you like EBM/Electronic.

Well I took a punt and bought two of his albums off iTunes.

Bonnie "Prince" Billy - I See a Darkness
Bonnie "Prince" Billy - Ease Down the Road

I have to say I'm impressed. Simple, sparse and poetic. Kind of like a darker version of Neil Young at his folky best. I will definitely be getting more from this artist.

That's one good thing about getting older. You don't worry so much about your hipness factor and can admit to liking stuff on it's own merit .

I've got a few Ninja Tunes compilations. There's some really original stuff on their lable.

just looked at their 'artist' line up on their website.... I didn't realize so much of my iTunes library comes from Ninja Tunes!

Have you got any Kruder and Dorfmeister?.... Sessions 1 is really worth a look... Peace Orchestra is worth buying too...

Tried to get that when I was shopping for some of your previous recommendations but couldn't find it here. Maybe next time I'm in the city doing a record store crawl . Not that often these days I'm afraid.

That's the beauty of iTunes store, I don't have to leave the house, but I miss liner notes. I like to know what I'm listening to like who played on what and who mixed it. It's handy when you're researching your next purchase. I tend to trawl through a musician's catalogue when I find someone I like.

Speaking of which Bonnie Prince Billy has definitely made my list of favourites.

Okay, I'm listening through Coldplay's Viva la Vida, and I must say. I am impressed so far.

I can recommend these songs so far.

-Viva la Vida
-Lost?
-Lost! (Yes, they are two songs, one's acoustic, the other not. I like them both)
-Violet Hill
