Kensington Mouse... not in my house
I've got a Kensington Optical Pro Mouse, that was working for the past 2 weeks in OS 10.1.2 (also worked fine for 6 months in OS 9), that just simply stopped and froze on the screen last night on my home G4 400. The pointer wouldn't budge, so I DL'ed the OS X.1 software from Kensington's site, loaded it, and now the light in the mouse (again, it's an optical mouse) turns on, but still no screen movement on the pointer. When I tried to use the Mouseworks software, it wouldn't see the mouse.
Any ideas?

Try trashing "MouseWorks Preferences" from your Home>Library>Preferences folder
