Can't rotate right in Preview

This may sound a little unusual but when i try to rotate a picture right in Preview said picture disappears leaving only the grey background. This happens with all pictures, no matter what the source of dimensions.

I've tried deleting the preference files and repairing permission to no avail. Has anyone got any ideas?
