Word 2004 Text Box

Does anyone know how to make the black line around a Word text Box invisable or go away?

I think you can do that under format-borders/shading.

after you've made the text box, click near the edge so the box is selected (the selection shading will look like dots, rather than the diagonal lines you get when you're entering text in the box). then right-click on the text box and select Format Text Box.... set the line color to No Line.
