How can I disable sleep light (throbber)?

I'd really like to disable the pulsing sleep light on my 15" Powerbook G4. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks.

You can't. Use tape to cover it, or plan on taking your Mac apart to cut the wires.

Bummer -- I've already got the tape on there, and I was hoping for something more aesthetic!

It would be nice to have a setting to keep that light from glowing. I'll be in my bed trying to sleep and the thing keeps glowing. I then start throwing clothes at my laptop until i cover the light up.

Turn the computer around so the light faces away from you.

I put my phone in front of the light. Blocks it real good and I can still open the laptop facing me if I want to look something up.
