Audio Divert
Is there any way to temporarally by-pass the external speakers?
I use a iTunes workflow in combination with a scheduled boot time as a alarm clock. I want a way to make my Mac play sound with the internal speakers with external speakers plugged in. (This would be handy as my Mac is aways connected to my Stereo, so i have to unplug it from the stereo every night or my alarm doesn't wake me up because my stereo is off at night) Basically, i want my Mac to send the audio to the internal speakers, even if other external speakers are connected. But i only want it to do this temporarily (every morning) so that i can switch the audio back to external speakers again. |

You might try playing with the output options in Audio MIDI Setup.
