It's time for a hint (in white anti-spoiler text):

There are fundamentally two ways that you can become a millionaire.

He became a millionaire by amassing large amounts of debt?

Second question, does his making millions have anything to do with his method of selling?

> He became a millionaire by amassing large amounts of debt?

We can safely assume that Mr. Bates pays all of his bills on time.

> Second question, does his making millions have anything to do with his method of selling?

Question assumes facts not in evidence.

Did he sell the idea?

Is the government involved?

Does this software require data?

The software was a family tree application, and it got him in contact with a long lost relative who left him $1,000,000 in his will.

The software is dating software, and he met a millionaire-ess via the application.

No.

No.

Nothing relevant to the riddle.

Um. No.

No.

It's a really simple riddle...

Okay, I think 3 days is enough...

Here's the riddle again with the answer (in white anti-spoiler text)...

Gilliam Bates wants to saturate the market with his unique software product. Although it costs $25 dollars to make, he decides to sell each copy of his software at $1 dollar and as a result becomes a millionaire.

Q: How does he do it?

A: He starts out a billionaire and takes heavy losses.

6502, you will be the death of me!!

Here's another one to have a go at:

Hiking in the mountains, you walk past a large field and camp a few miles farther on, at a stream. It snows in the night, and the next day you find a cabin in the field with two dead bodies inside.

Explain.

Is the stream relevant?

Was the cabin there yesterday?

Was the cabin on a mountainside and an avalanche brought it down to the field killing the people inside?

A possibility, but not the answer I'm looking for!

I think I've heard this one but I'll hold off on answering it. At least I think I know the correct answer.

Screengem0531, you are correct.

The aeroplane crashed in the heavy snow storm, it broke up and scattered across the mountains, leaving the cabin with it's occupents in the field.

Here's another:

A man goes to work, he during his work he rips his suit, then he dies.

Explain.

I'm guessing he's working with anthrax or something like unto it. Must have riped his bio suit.

Or, perhaps, he's an astronaut, they would definitely be very dead if their suits ripped :-).

Got to be fast around here folks.

Well, since we're doing these kinds of games, I think I'm going to try a little game of twenty questions.

The category is: Thing.
