Imaging Apps and print tiling

iPhoto and Photoshop are the two main imaging apps I use...

I have several images that are just LARGER that my paper size and I want to 'T I L E' out prints. I am trying to NOT DO THIS THE CRUDE WAY (ie manually)

Is anyone doing print tiling anymore. You know spaning the documents image over several pages (prints)

A quick point in the right direction

I haven't tried this script but it looks like it does what you need in Photoshop using javascript
