I had 6 or so sites setup under 10.1 Client. I recently got 10.2 Server, and worked out a lot of problems so far. Although I can't figure this one out.
I am trying to use the Server Settings App with no success. If I add my virtual host list to httpd.conf the sites will work, but they show as ASCII and not render as html. I really want to use the app so I can see the server stats. I think it has something to do with Name based serving. I just don't know. If anyone has had success with setting up virtual hosts in this program please let me know. Thanks, SKOT |

Got It
I got it to work finally, not sure what did it. I used Pacifist and reinstalled anything that had to do with httpd. Now I just need to figure out Automount and Mail.

You might want to read through the server admin guide that comes with X server, visit www.afp548.com and read through their stuff, and subscribe to the Mac OS X server mailing list for the more difficult and odd questions.
http://lists.apple.com/macos-x-server/ I just also found this page of server resources: http://www.apple.com/server/resources.html It's all a lot of reading, but it'll be worth it in the long run. |
