topebrown7.. you have to much spare time man! for someone who is relatively new to Macs, you seem to have got 'modding' quite well covered! Although I do notice one very questionable app in your collection!

here's me... regal eh!

yeah there is an instructor at my work who has a very large external FW HD he connects to his G5 then shares it out to his students so they can push their final projects and what not to them and he can take them home and grade them. he named the drive "Big Daddy"

hahaha

Our tech file server at work is called "Techdawg"

Thumbs up

Well I just switched to Mac and I'm glad I did! Now my only thing after looking at all these cool desktops is that I'm jealous because I want to know what half of the programs on the dashboard are! Maybe we should start posting that also.

There's a fun thread about showing menulets, which you could probably search out here. Folks were posting screenshots of their menu bar and explaining which apps were there. I've gotta run to work so can't look for it now.

If one doesn't already exist, feel free to start a thread.

A dashboard thread isn't a bad idea.

Dual display background

Here is mine, the background rotates out every 5 minutes on both displays to keep me interested... Mostly motorbikes.

Found a great tree stump in the neighborhood. It's now become my desktop background.

Not my Mac, but my main work and highly functional Win OS PC.

and my Vista Laptop (hey it's actually not that bad if you turn off UAC and add 3 GB of additional RAM)

I'm, er... a bit of a Porsche nut.

Talk about amber waves of grain!

From which part of America's heartland is this shot?

Greywell, Hampshire, UK

It's one of Alistair McRonald's great widescreen shots adapted by Ryan Thaut.

One of many landscapes I run on my dual Samsung 206BW's.

That's OS X running on the left and Vista Ultimate on the right - both controlled by a single keyboard and mouse with Synergy. The Vista side also runs UltraMon, so I can spread it across both monitors if I wish (the left monitor has my Mac mini on the vga plug and my PC on the DVI plug - changeable via the "source" button on the Samsung).

The original landscape shot was cut in two so that it appears to span both operating systems.
