Nice one. Almost like a close-up detail of the shot above.

Cue the twilight zone theme...

That was not one of the similarities I had in mind. Black and white, parallel lines and perspective was more what I was thinking.

I like what you've added. You've a nice sense of composition and flow.

Ok, here is a picture I took from my trip in Belize awhile back. Feeling nostalgic made me suddenly change my desktop.

Had a great storm pass to the west this last week. Caught some of the lightning. Turned it into my desktop. Quite a bit cropped out due to the dimensions of the mbp's display.

Just in case anyone's interested, exif was

ISO 100, 8 seconds at f/5.6.

This image composited from two photos.

My first impression is that it looks like something got struck on the lower left side of the image. Anyway, great shot.

Oh thanks, windowblinds . And I wish I had the eye, or the sharp image camera to take a picture that gorgeus. Google is my friend, as I'm sure of many people. But once I get my macbook I might invest in a camera and some serious photo taking. There's not much to take photos of in Hamilton..

I could have sworn I replied to this while at work the other day.

Using my windows machine and firefox. Sometimes it just doesn't work.

I had thanked you for your comment, and mentioned that when you get your camera, the waterfront district in Hamilton should be a gold mine of photo opportunity. Assuming you're in Hamilton, Ontario.

Be well.

And while in the yard weeding, came across some nice pebbles. Which of course became yet another desktop.

great beach and lightning shot. The beach makes we want vacation sooooooo bad. Nothing like working 12 hour days, for 6 weeks straight to get you pumped up for vacation. Saddest part is, school just start so there is no way I get vacation until thanksgiving!
