Could you specify which OS your using and how your screens are setup (aka connected) with your G4, and which G4 model you have, if you added a second card to use a second monitor, etc...
But as a starting point, if your using OS X, what do you see if you go in System Preferences to the Display ssection. Does it detect the two displays ? Have you also tried rebooting ?

okay! first thanks for reply. i have Power Mac G4 model: M8493. it has only one video controler with 2 outputs: one standart for normal CRT monitors and the other one is Mac standart. this big one. i don^t know what is the name exactly. when i leave only the original one it doesn^t initialize in the begining too. it has power because when is connected is blinking but don^t initialise. in the monitor properties it is only the CRT one. the other is missing. but it don^t come in the gray screen in the begining too. OS is MAC OS X 10.3
