classic and sleep
I am running primarily running OS10.1.5 on a G4 iMac, and recently have been running many Classic apps for work. Once I start Classic from the Systems Preferences menu, OSX will not stay in sleep mode (it goes to sleep after the specified time, then wakes up and the display is active - an eventual concern for the built-in flatscreen monitor). Even after quitting Classic, the only way to sleep is to reboot into OSX.
Any suggestions? JS |

Try just logging out of OS X when you leave the machine and see if sleep triggers.

I have had that same thing happen on my eMac and my iBook. When I put them to sleep while classic is running, they wake right back up, if I haven't started Classic, they both go right to sleep. The eMac is running 10.2 and the iBook 10.1.5, so it's not a Jag issue. What's up with that?
