iLife '06 system requirements clarification

The iLife '06 system requirements state this:

733MHZ or faster required for iDVD

iDVD is one of the main reasons I want iLife, but I've got a G4 500mhz dual processor... Am I supposed to think of that strictly as a 500 mhz machine despite the dual processors? Or is there a different, "effective speed" rating that I should use to match this box up against software system requirements?

Just hoping for some advice before I shell out $80... thanks...

Other uses over at the Apple Discussions have reported successful use of iDVD with a dual 500. The encoding speed is what will not be up to specs but they say it does work.
