iDVD won't open a project

I'm running 10.2 with iDVD 2.1 on a iMac G4. I open iDVD, it brings up the dialog box to start new project/open an existing project/view tutorial. Well, I can choose any of these three and nothing really happens. I can name a new project, but I click OK in the name dialog box and the box disappears and nothing happens. I can start the tutorial and the help center opens but trying to open the tutorial nothing happens.

I've never opened iDVD in 4 months b/c I never needed to, but now I want to and it doesn't work?

I looked through Apple's forums and KB, couldn't find anything... help?
