HP LaserJet 2550n - Paper Feed option not working

As you select Paper Feed in the Print dialog box, it appears to let you print the First page from one tray and Remaining pages from the other tray. But, as I try to do this in OS 10.4.3, as long as there is paper in Tray 1, the printer ends up fetching paper from Tray 1.

According to an HP webpage, it says "The latest HP printer software for this device is built into Tiger for print only functionality and does not require a download or reinstallation of any HP software to print." Also, I made sure that the firmware on the printer is the latest one.

Is anyone having this problem?
