Previewing animated gif files

How do you preview an animated gif. When you click on the file it comes up in preview but with each of it's individual images instead of running the animation.

The only way I've been able to view them is to drag it into a safari window. So, what's the secret way to do it.

Either the application you're using should preview it for you (like ImageReady), or just use a browser.
