Problem dismounting Cruzer Mini 1GB after sleep

Hi,

I have problem dismounting the Cruzer Mini 1GB USB flashdrive if my powerbook goes to sleep and then wakes up with the flashdrive still inserted. When I try to dismount, the OS hangs with spinning beachball until I physically unplug the drive. The following error message is displayed and repeated many times in /var/log/system.log.

kernel[0]: USBF: 164.430 AppleUSBEHCI[0x189f800]::Found a transaction past the completion deadline on bus 91, timing out!

The problem happens only if the machine ever goes to sleep and then wakes up again with the drive plugged in. Dismounting works properly otherwise. I have searched on google for similar problem and I only found suggestion on updating the driver for a problematic external HDD. This USB flashdrive does not require any driver. I am running 10.4.3 on a 1.33 GHz PowerPC G4 powerbook. Any ideas or suggestion?
