Question Quicktime MOV -> Animated GIF?

Hi all,
Anyone know of a way to convert a small piece of a Quicktime MOV (or AVI movie file) into an animated GIF?
Thanks!

Graphic Converter can do this. (File/Convert -> choose GIF as destination format to break the movie up into a sequence of GIF images, then use File/Convert again to convert that sequence into one animated GIF)

ImageReady can do this as well, but your filesize will probably end up pretty large if your movie is long or big in dimensions.

Thanks for link! WoW geovid is site with different converters.
I also found "Video Avatar". As far as I understood it converts video files to GIF.

I didn't know that it's so easy.

Add link to favorites!

Give this a try.
GifBuilder is a scriptable utility for creating animated GIF files. GifBuilder 1.0 carbon is a version for Mac OS X.
I think it will work.
