Boot Icon, Odd...

Ever since upgrading to 10.4.3 on my G4 Powerbook I get a folder icon with a question mark in it for a split second then the question mark changes to the finder icon and everything boots normal. Why is this?

It could be that there is no Startup Disk offically set for you especially if you changed the startup disk to an OS X cd at one point. What you need to do is to go in System Prefs to Startup Disk, click on your own HD and then click Restart so it takes the change into effect and also it will allow you to see if the change has fixed your issue.
