Mail's autocomplete address feature not using imported messages

Mail has this great feature (like many other email programs) to automatically complete addresses when you start typing a name or address into one of the TO/CC/BCC fields of a new message. I'm aware that this list that Mail presents to you is a combination of all your Address Book contacts and any other address in your saved message's TO/FROM/CC/etc fields. But the problem I'm having is that Mail isn't using any addresses from my imported messages to add to this list. Is there a way to get Mail to do this? Can I tell it to rebuild this "list" using all my messages?
