How do I get receipt for mail sent using OSX mail 10.4.2 ?

Please note, the concept of a return receipt has been steadily deprecated over time. Originally it was vital for making sure people got email. The infrastructure for email now is significantly stronger, and return receipt isn't as necessary. Ultimately, it means that for every email, there was 2x as much network traffic. You should also note that return receipt MUST be supported by both the receiving SMTP server, AND the receiving email client. If they aren't, you won't get a receipt. For many SMTP servers, acknowledgment of a receipt is not on by default..
