iPod
Well I finally broke down and bought an "iSnob" and I love it!!!
I had one question though. I've finally filled up this thing....now some of the albums and songs I've chosen are...well I'm bored with them. Does anyone know how to delete them from the iPod freeing up space? Can I keep them on my desktop machine but delete them from iPod? If I delete them from my desktop machine, will they be deleted from the iPod the next time I reconnect via firewire?

1. Turn off automatic update.
2. Select the iPod in iTunes and delete the songs from the list. I believe if you delete them from your hard drive, it will also delete them from the iPod, if Automatic Update is on.

Plug in the iPod, open up iTunes, select the iPod in the "Source" list, select the files you don't want and hit the delete key.
This seems to do the trick for me. |
