Open a .wps Microsoft Works file
Does anyone know of an OS X program will properly open a .wps MS Works file or is there an OS X utility that will convert it.
Thanks, Joxer |

My dad has works for windoze and I opened a file he sent me in text edit, it was 90% okay but the rest was goboldygook!
I have never come across a converter!, might be worth asking the sender to save the file as a txt or word document. |

I know Text Edit will read it but I was hoping for something that does an exact translation. I probably should have been more clear.
I convinced a PC user to buy a new 20" iMac she loves it and I've been able to show her how to do everything on a Mac better than she could on her PC. However the one thing I did was copied her .wps files over to the iMac and now I can't really open them and maintain the formatting. What I'll do is have her e-mail them to me and convert them to .doc files here then mail them back. I appreciate the effort you made to reply, answering you just now helped me think out a reasonable solution. =Joxer |
