Hi All,
I am sick to death of ePay licking govt A$$ and forbidding me to see certain items (Heckler & Koch shirts (!) and the like). They even stopped me bidding on a gas mask once.... :-( Is there any way of adjusting Safari for browsing so they don't know where I am coming in from? Bugged-by-Big-Bruv-Gav. Thailand |

They most likely know the country where you are because of your ip address, which comes from your internet provider, which is in your country...
That's the good thing about America. Any government official who tried to restrict our bidding would be committing career suicide. This probably won't work, but you could try going to a slightly different address. I've noticed that ebay's address in America is: www.ebay.com In Australia it is: pages.ebay.com/au so you could try different countries to see if you can slip by the censors. Of course, then you're bidding against people from other countries and with different money. |

anonymoust browsing
Though ?I have not tried this you could try using Tor
http://tor.eff.org/ From their website: Tor: An anonymous Internet communication system Tor is a toolset for a wide range of organizations and people that want to improve their safety and security on the Internet. Using Tor can help you anonymize web browsing and publishing, instant messaging, IRC, SSH, and more. Tor also provides a platform on which software developers can build new applications with built-in anonymity, safety, and privacy features. Happy browsing Andy |

Do a search for Jap Java.
I don't know if you go through a proxy server like I do at work. I use this when I need to check out my hotmail. It comes in various flavors: Win/Linux/Mac since it uses Java. Ciao, Lou Cioccio
