iMovie Project to Windows MovieMaker (Please Help!)

I just created a video project with imovie and I burnt the file "clip 01" to a cd. I want to edit this file with windows movie maker, but it won't work. Can anyone tell me what i need to do to get this to work? Is there a conversion tool/software that can turn that file into a compatible file for windows movie maker? Please help me, i desperately need help!

If you really want to use Windows Movie Maker (I don't know why you would want to do that as iMovie is much nicer) then you will need to export your raw footage in a format that MovieMaker can import. I don't think you will be able to find any conversion program that will allow you to use any of the project from iMovie - you will need to basically start over with the raw clips. But I guess that is what you are trying to do with "clip 01".

Note that it is possible that the clip that you have is in QuickTime format but is missing a ".mov" suffix and so is not recognized on the Windows machine. You might try adding a .mov suffix to see if that helps.

Am I the only one to notice that a significant percentage of the problems sicussed on a Mac site are Windows problems?
