Question Customise qmail delivery failure email

Hi all,

I have qmail running on OS X Server.. .

When a user enters an incorrect email address he will receive a delivery failure notice.

Although it contains some vital information, I would like to edit it so that it is less-cryptic for our users - first 5 lines user friendly then the rest at the bottom.

Any ideas on how I can do that would be muchly appreciated?

Many thanks,

.//phil

I don't know where it is either, you might need to grep the source for it.

And consider yourself lucky that you didn't ask this question on the qmail-mailinglist. One poster would probably have pointed out that someone who feels that Dans wording of the message is too terse is probably just too dim to dig it. And a second chiming in that if you can't figure out how to find it in the source code, what kind of a postmaster are you anyway...

However, if you need help for really obscure qmail problems, it is extremely helpful. Link on djb's cr.yp.to - page.

Where Is the File?

Thanks voldenuit!

I have looked for a file containing words in Failure Delivery Report with no luck, anyone able to help?

In my travels I have found an interesting/useful website, it may be of help to someone:
