INSTALLING IMAC RESTORE CDs IN A YDL IMAC

hi,

i recently got a restore cds (4 cds iMac 10.1.4) from ebay and was planning to install it on my imac 333, 256 mb ram running on yellow dog linux 4....

when i ran cd1 of the restore imac os x, it gave me a prompt about settings....it seems that i can only do a restore and not a fresh install....is there a work around for this?
