Question OS X Hosting

Hi,

I'm looking for a OS X-based host. My requirements are a little unusual, I need to be able to run webkit2png (Which requires PyObjC, which is the real problem.)

My requirement for bandwidth is low, for the forseeable future it would be below <1Gb/month but will probably need to grow, and I have absolutely minimal diskspace requirements (I only need to host webkit2png, PyObjC and a PHP script to wrap it.) I don't have any other reqauirements, I doubt I ever will have.

I'm not necessarily after 100% uptime guarantees, I'm not after the usual "multiple redundant OC-48s" BS, just a friendly (And cheap!) host. Hell, if someone has a few spare CPU cycles on their Mac and a half-decent connection, I would consider that!

Anyway, if anyone has any recommendations, it would love to hear them.

Best Regards,
Carl.

well the only thing I can think of is getting a dedicated server from serverpronto.com and asking them to custom install MacOS X Server on the server for you with your additional programs

I used to use MacDialup for an ISP before I got a DSL hookup through BellSouth. They were very dependable and I hated to leave them. At any rate, they use all Macintosh hardware and offer WebHosting as well. See this page for their list of services or here for their webhosting services.

I don't know if this is exactly what you are looking for, but besides using Macintosh hardware, they were very dependable, pleasant, and eager to help.

Not sure if this will help, but everymac.com uses this site for their hosting. May have something for you as well.
