Possible to merge two address books

I have managed to copy my original address book to another machine. unfortunately I have been entering new addresses on both machines which I supppose is a bit daft in retrospect. Is it possible to merge the two without generating duplicates of all the similar records?

If I export vcards is there an app that I can use to merge them.

regards

You might consider using iSync between the two machines. Vcards will also work. When you go to import, AddressBook should ask what you want to do with the duplicates. If the dialogs are answered properly, you shouldn't end up with duplicates.
