iTunes visual on second monitor?
I have a 17in LCD attached to my 15" Powerbook G4 that I use to expand my screen realestate. Since this screen is bigger I like to keep iTunes on 17in LCD so that I can maximize the window. I noticed that when I click on the visual effects button on iTunes that it won't turn on. At first I thought it was broken but I then moved iTunes back to the Powerbook display and it worked. Is there a way to play the iTunes visuals on the second monitor so that I can still use the main Powerbook display for work?

what resolution is the sceond monitor running? I do this at work with a 19in crt that is running at 1280x960. If all else fails, quit itunes, move the prefs files to the desktop and restart itunes. if that doesn't work. quit itunes again and move your old prefs files back and then restart itunes.
Also, have you tried pressing the command-t hot key while the itunes main window is on the lcd? This may make it start up even though the button is greyed out.

The LCD is running at 1280x1024. The visual button isn't greyed out, it just doesn't do anything when the I have the iTunes main window on the LCD. Also when I have the main iTunes window on the Powerbook display the visuals work but the LCD goes black while the visual is being displayed on the Powerbook.

Damn Apple
Why doesn't this seem to be an issue. It sucks. I want to use my visualization from itunes on a second monitor like every other freekin pc user out there running crappy winamp. Why doesn't someone address this.

I feel you. There are alot of small annoying quirks that I wish Apple would address (for example no CD text in iTunes) but I'll be patient and I'm sure someone will figure it out.
