Arrow MAC OSX 10.3 with bluetooth and NOKIA 6230

Hi PPL!

I am in Brazil and I have TIM operator which is offering
GPRS/EDGE in my region. Problme is to configure it...;(

I want to use the 6230 as Bluetooth modem and instructions
are only for damm windows..
http://www.tim.com.br/portaltim/home...66O904,00.html
(click on passo-a-passo)

Did anybody ever do it?
I am using the Null Modem 19200 but i dont know where i can
configure the modem string AT+CGDCONT=1, "IP", "tim.br"
Also, when i try to connect i get the error message
"could not open the communication device"

What do you suggest? :spy:

thanks,
Giulio.

Guilio

Try the modem scripts here: http://www.taniwha.org.uk/ (for some reason that site cannot be reached with the latest version of Safari!!??)

Using the script Nokia GPRS CID 1 from the above source, I got it to work with my setup, in Sweden: PB G4 (1.5), OS X 10.3.5, Nokia 6230.

Good luck/ZB
