Halo is coming to the Mac (and PC), but not even Bungie is talking about a release date. From the Bungie Halo Rumor Control page:
Quote:
Q: Is Halo an Xbox-exclusive, or will it ever ship for PCs/Macs as originally planned?
A:
There WILL be Mac and PC versions of Halo. Go back and read that sentence again. Notice the clear, straightforward nature of the answer. Note that this answer comes directly from Bungie, the makers of Halo, and is posted on our official site.

It doesn't matter what the guy in the forum said, or what the guy in the magazine said, or what the guy at the software store said. All that matters is what Bungie said. And Bungie has said, time and time again, that PC and Mac versions of Halo will ship. Work is being done right now to make these versions a reality. Anyone who tells you otherwise does not know what he is talking about.

Some sites claimed "Early 2002" for both releases, but clearly that hasn't happened!

Jedi Knight II: No release date, and I don't even know if it's confirmed. Aspyr would be the logical choice, given past projects with both the Quake3 engine and LucasArts, but the only word on the net seems to be rumors. I think it would be a safe bet we'll see it, but when is the more interesting question.

Given that they've missed the Episode-II-Hype boat, I'm betting we'll see JK2 a couple of months before Ep III...

Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast is already shipping. Nobody has said when Jedi Academy will ship.

Halo is being ported by Westlake/MacSoft (http://halo.bungie.org/ search for "Mac" has some good Mac Halo interviews), and will probably be out "soon", since the PC version shipped last Monday (ported by Gearbox). I'm personally hoping by the end of the month, but I could see late November, easily.
