Red face Junk folder not showing?

hi

im running jaguar 10.2.6
and mail 1.2.5
for some reason i dont have a junk mail box, i can create an ordinary folder called Junk but it doesnt seem to act like a mail created junk mail box, is there suposed to be a special one and if so can i create it or turn it on somehow?

go into preferences and turn junk mail filtering on

the junk mail filter is on and it is learn mode but STILL NO special junk folder, is the folder suposed to look special?

Try tuning it off and then back on.
There should be a "Junk" folder in your mailboxes if it's on.

there should be another radio button that says "move it to Junk mailbox (Automatic)" just below the "learn" radio button. Only by switching from "learn" (or "training") to "Automatic" will the junk folder appear.

Bingo

its so weird, i need to turn from custom to automatic to get the special junk folder, and as you say if i go back to training the folder disappears, but going back to custom the folder remains, probably a minor bug but thanks for sorting it out for me
