Can't connect to localhost...

When I start the Apache server, I can't view my pages if I enter "http://localhost/" as the URL in Explorer.
If I go via the ISP's IP number it works, though.

Anyone know how to fix this?

How about "http://127.0.0.1/"?

Well, that didn't work either...
However, I did a reinstall of OS X (which caused a huge number of problems, but that's a completely different thread) for other reasons, and now the problem is gone.
Seems to have been one of those freak errors you get sometimes...
